Assisted in developing
an education tool at Ochsner Medical Center in New
Orleans, Louisiana to evaluate preoperative teaching
for their patients. This tool is being used at this
present time at their facility, 1989.
Developed the first
exit and transfer interview at Baton Rouge General
Medical Center, Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Exit
questionnaire and follow-up letter also developed
for the employee once resigned, 1990.
Assisted in the
development of and participated in the first Charge

students to take in the summer to help them improve

Students at Lee College to improve their test taking

Selected as a site
visitor for Texas Higher Education Coordinating
Board to review the Associate Degree Nursing
Program, LVN Program, and Surgical Tech program at
Houston Community College, in Houston, Texas,
February 14-16, 2001.
**Developed the first
test-taking technique course for Associate Degree
Nursing students at Lee College (COSS 0300 – Study
skills for nursing students) by use of Perkins grant
money and is presently teaching the course every
semester to enable those students who consistently
perform poorly on exams to be able to improve their
test scores utilizing test taking techniques, May 3,
2001 – Present.

on a Project Advisory Group for distance learning
project through a Perkins Grant through the
